Mr. Kishore Rajvanshy is the managing director of Fleet Management and was instrumental in founding the company. Under his able guidance the Company has seen rapid and steady growth from 1 bulk carrier at the start to the present diversified fleet of more than 200 vessels.

He graduated from BITS Pilani, a prominent university in India in mechanical engineering in 1969.

After graduation he joined the Shipping Corporation of India (the country's state shipping company), where he spent the first year of training in Mumbai. He spent most of his time at sea between 1971 and 1978. In the last three years at sea he sailed as chief engineer.

In 1978 Mr. Rajvanshy came ashore as he progressed toward the post of superintendent.

In 1979 he embarked upon a 15-year career with a prominent Hong Kong-based ship management company. Starting as a superintendent, he was soon promoted to technical manager, then technical director and finally - for the last eight years with the firm - he was director and general manager. That last period was particularly productive and saw the company grow from 20 to 70 ships.

In November 1994 Mr. Rajvanshy joined Noble Group to establish Fleet Management Ltd.


Capt.M.S.Nagarajan, MNI is Director and General Manager at Fleet Management.

He is currently the Global Head of Manning for all 270 + vessels under Fleet Management Ltd and also the Head of Operations department for all Dry cargo vessels. He currently heads and oversees the employment of crew from all manning offices in India, Phillipines and China.

Capt. Nagarajan graduated from the T.S Rajendra in 1977. He completed his apprenticeship with the Scindia Steam Navigation Company and went on to become Master in 1989.

He has extensively sailed on a wide range of vessels including lift on lift off vessels, tankers, general cargo vessels, reefer vessels and bulk carriers.

Capt. Nagarajan joined Fleet Management in 1997 and remained Global head of manning till 2002. From 2002 to 2004 he focused on the operation of bulk ships and dry cargo vessels.

In 2004 he moved on to the technical division as Technical Manager and had managed more than 50 vessels under his leadership for various Owners worldwide, successfully.

From 2011 onwards, he has taken over as Overall in-charge for Manning and Operations and maintains current profile.


Mr. Dilip Nair is a Director and General Manager at Fleet Management Ltd.

He currently heads the New-building and Special projects team of the company. The team has the credit of building over 45 + vessels of various DWTs for clients all over the world and has 65+ vessels on order to be delivered by 2017.

In addition, Mr Nair oversees the implementation and upgradation of the In House Developed Computerised Planned Maintenance system , installed on all the Fleet vessels, which is approved by major Class societies. He also oversees the In House IT development and service departments.

Mr. Nair graduated as an Mechanical engineer in 1979 and started his shipping career with Shipping Corporation of India. He was promoted to the rank of Chief Engineer with a known chemical tanker company.

Mr. Nair became a Superintendent with a shipping company in Hong Kong where he also worked as a Chief Engineer and finally joined Fleet Management Ltd in July 1995 as a Superintendent and gradually rose to his present rank. During these years he has done professional courses to enhance his skills and is also a Certified NACE II inspector.


Mr. Sanjay Chandra is Technical Director of Fleet Management Ltd.

With his team of Group Heads, Mr. Chandra supervises the overall running , maintenance and operation of all Fleet Management’s vessels. He is also the Global Head of the Purchasing Department and has optimized the procurement process for the entire fleet of vessels.

He had graduated from India’s premier Maritime Engineering College ( D.M.E.T.) in 1983 and he sailed extensively on Product tankers and Oil Tankers with an Oil Major. He sailed for a total of 11 years with the final two years in the capacity of Chief engineer.

He had worked with American Bureau of Shipping, Mumbai, India from 1995 to 2000 as Ship Surveyor and was also Lead Auditor for ISM, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 certification. During his tenure with ABS, Mr. Chandra was also actively involved in conversions and installation in the offshore sector.

He joined Fleet Management as first Tanker Superintendent of the company in the year 2000 and gradually rose to his present rank of Technical Director. He had also played a significant role in the expansion of company’s Tanker fleet which presently stands at 85+ vessels.

Mr. Chandra actively represents Fleet Mgmt in various Technical committees, i.e. Hong Kong Shipowners Association , Hong Kong Marine Department, Lloyds Register, American Bureau of Shipping, Class NK, Bureau Veritas and DNV Machinery Group.


Capt. P.S. Rangnekar is Chief Operating officer at EMSPL, Mumbai office, which is the crewing arm of Fleet Management in India. He is In-Charge of the India Operations of the company.

He is responsible for recruitment of Indian staff and under his leadership, EMSPL engages the Indian nationals at various ranks onboard FML vessels, which form majority of crew compliment on board FML managed vessels.

Capt. P.S. Rangnekar completed his pre-sea training at T.S. Rajendra in 1980 and started his career with Scindia Steam Navigation Company and subsequently served in L&T and Farsund Shipping. He sailed as Master from 1994 until Aug 1997 , when he joined FML as Marine Superintendent and gradually rose to the present position in the company.

He was also hugely responsible for setting up and functioning of Fleet Management Training Institute at Navi Mumbai, India in 1998, which has state of the art training facilities, approved by Director General of Shipping. He also plays a key role in recruitment and establishing careers of Deck Cadets and Trainee Marine Engineers on company managed vessels.

EMSPL has won many awards and recognitions under Captain Ranganekar’s tenure like Best Foreign Employer of Indian Seafarers in 2009 and 2012 and Fastest Growing and Promising Company of the Decade and the company enjoys a leading position in the crewing industry of Indian seafarers.
